Kai Dare, incoming President of EWI of Northwest Arkansas just returned from EWI’s 62nd Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting (LCAM) in Louisville, Kentucky — it’s EWI’s signature event, held every year, the fourth week in September. This year over 400 business women representing 63 Chapters within the United States and Canada attended!

It was a terrific event — motivational, inspirational, thought-provoking, and just a really great overall experience and opportunity to meet a diverse and accomplished  population of professionals representing a variety of organizations and firms.

This year at LCAM, over $84,000 was awarded including, scholarships given to high school juniors to support educational goals (called: Executive Women International Scholarship Program — EWISP), scholarships to adults facing work/life challenges (called: Adult Students in Scholastic Transition — ASIST) and scholarships given to EWI members to assist in their educational endeavors (called: Fellows).

LCAM was “connections, careers, and community” at its finest!
